We also sell 22 cm x 32 cm precut nylon sheets
(VP 504V) and 10 cm x 15 cm precut nylon sheets
(VP 502). High density arrays on large membranes can also be
made using 48 and 96 Pin MULTI-BLOT™ Replicators on the 3 x 3
alignment hole side of the frame. We recommend that a
blotting paper such as
VP 521V or
Whatman paper be placed under the membrane prior to blotting.
The VP 382 MULTI-PRINT™ was designed to work with both 96 pin and
384 pin Replicators. The side with 9 alignment holes spaced 3 mm apart is
meant to be used with 96 pin Replicators to make a 864 spot array. You
don't have to use all 9 alignment holes in making your array, you can customize
the array to fit your experimental design. The side of the MULTI-PRINT™
with 4 alignment holes spaced 2.25 mm apart is meant to be used with 384 pin
Replicators to make a 1536 spot array.
The VP 382D MULTI-PRINT™ was designed to
work only with 96 pin Replicators. The side with 9 alignment holes
spaced 3 mm apart is meant to make a 864 spot array. The side with 4
alignment holes spaced 4.5 mm apart is meant to make a 384 spot array. You
don't have to use all the alignment holes in making your array, you can
customize the array to fit your experimental design. If
you are transferring DNA, cDNA or other materials in hydrophobic solutions
you will find that our new V&P Pin Cleaning Solution treatment of the pins will
