Tumble Stirring (Mixing In Microplates)

The ability to simultaneously stir the contents of 2,592 wells using 96 well microplates or 13,104 wells using 384 well microplates opens the possibility of miniaturizing many different processes from synthesis to micro-fermentations. These many new possibilities are discussed in articles published in the March 2, 1998 issue of "The Scientist" Volume 12 #5 page 13 and the March 1998 issue of American Laboratory News Edition, Volume 30 #7, page 10.
